Soft-Boiled Eggs in Air Fryer Recipe

soft-boiled eggs in air fryer - featured image

A quick and easy method to make perfectly soft-boiled eggs with creamy, runny yolks using an air fryer. This foolproof recipe eliminates the guesswork and mess of traditional boiling.

Ingredients

  • Large eggs (room temperature preferred)
  • Cold water (for ice bath)
  • Optional seasoning: sea salt, cracked black pepper, everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 270°F (130°C), about 3 minutes.
  2. Place eggs in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding crowding.
  3. Cook eggs for 9 minutes for creamy yolks; adjust to 8 minutes for runnier yolks or 10 minutes for firmer yolks.
  4. Immediately transfer eggs to a bowl of ice water for 3-5 minutes to stop cooking.
  5. Peel eggs gently by tapping and rolling the shell, starting from the wider end.

Notes

Use room temperature eggs for even cooking. Do not stack eggs in the air fryer basket. The ice water bath is essential to stop cooking and ease peeling. Adjust cooking time to preference. Peel under running water if shells stick.
