Instructions

  1. Carefully slice each avocado in half lengthwise around the pit. Twist the halves to separate, then gently remove the pit with the edge of your knife or a spoon. Scoop the avocado flesh into your mixing bowl.
  2. Using a fork or potato masher, gently mash the avocado. Keep it chunky—aim for a rustic texture with some larger pieces, not a smooth paste.
  3. Pour in 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lime juice. Mix gently to combine.
  4. Sprinkle ½ teaspoon of sea salt over the mixture. Taste and adjust if needed.
  5. Give everything one last gentle stir. Serve immediately with tortilla chips, fresh veggies, or as a topping on tacos.
