  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the apples thoroughly to help cinnamon and sugar stick better.
  2. Slice the apples thinly into 1/8-inch (3 mm) slices using a mandoline or sharp knife, removing seeds and cores.
  3. Place apple slices in a mixing bowl and drizzle with 1 teaspoon lemon juice; toss gently to coat and prevent browning.
  4. In a small bowl, combine cinnamon and sugar; sprinkle evenly over apple slices and toss again to coat.
  5. Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper or a silicone mat for easier cleanup and to prevent sticking.
  6. Arrange apple slices in a single layer without overlapping; work in batches if necessary.
  7. Air fry at 300°F (150°C) for 15-20 minutes, flipping slices gently after 10 minutes for even crisping. Watch closely near the end to avoid burning.
  8. Remove chips from air fryer and cool completely on a cooling rack or paper towels to crisp up.
  9. Repeat with remaining slices until all are cooked.

Notes
