A quick and easy snack featuring mini sausages wrapped in crescent roll dough, cooked to crispy perfection in the air fryer in just 10 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 mini sausages or cocktail wieners
  • 1 (8-ounce) can crescent roll dough
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds or poppy seeds (optional)
  • Honey or Dijon mustard for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
  2. Open the crescent roll can and unroll the dough onto a clean surface. Press the perforations to seal and cut the dough into 24 equal strips, about 1 inch wide.
  3. Wrap each mini sausage with a dough strip, rolling snugly but not too tight.
  4. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Brush this mixture evenly over each wrapped sausage.
  5. Place the wrapped sausages in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each for air circulation.
  6. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through (around 4-5 minutes) to ensure even browning.
  7. If desired, sprinkle sesame or poppy seeds on top immediately after cooking while still warm.
  8. Let cool for a couple of minutes before serving with honey or Dijon mustard for dipping.

Notes

Press crescent roll seams firmly to prevent unraveling. Brush with seasoned butter for extra flavor and crispiness. Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket for even cooking. Flip halfway through cooking. Let rest briefly before serving. For gluten-free, use gluten-free dough or bacon wraps. For dairy-free, substitute butter with olive oil or plant-based spread.
