These easy no-bake peanut butter overnight oats are a creamy, satisfying breakfast that comes together in just 5 minutes. No cooking required, just pantry staples and a jar for a grab-and-go morning meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats (45g)
  • 1/2 cup milk (120ml)
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter (32g)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey (15ml)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (12g, optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Add the rolled oats to a mason jar or airtight container.
  2. Add the chia seeds (if using) over the oats.
  3. Pour the milk over the oats and chia seeds.
  4. Add the peanut butter, maple syrup or honey, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  5. Stir everything together until well combined, ensuring the peanut butter is fully incorporated.
  6. Seal the jar and shake gently to distribute ingredients evenly.
  7. Refrigerate overnight (at least 6 hours, ideally 8-12 hours).
  8. In the morning, stir the oats. If too thick, add a splash of milk. Top with sliced bananas, extra peanut butter, or chocolate chips if desired.

Notes

For best texture, use rolled oats, not steel-cut or instant. Warm the peanut butter slightly if it’s cold for easier mixing. Layer ingredients in the order listed to prevent chia seeds from clumping. Do not over-soak beyond 24 hours. Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Freezing is not recommended.
